Meet The Pup Butler

Hey, I’m Derek, the owner and operator of The Pup Butler.

I’m 34 years old, married over 7 years and I’m a proud girl dad (she’s a princess)! I live in the Eastgate area of Batavia, Ohio.

Though I’m not a dog-dad myself (yet…I want a Cavapoo), I grew up with dogs and I’m very familiar with this chore! Scooping poop is something that will always need done if you want to actually set foot in your yard and I know how quickly things can get out of hand when life gets busy.

I started The Pup Butler because I’ve always wanted a business to call my own and be my own boss. Cleaning up dog poop isn’t glamorous, but it’s honest work and it makes people’s lives easier. Plus this line of work lets me sneak in a few poop/dad jokes and call it marketing lol.

I take the job seriously because it matters. Dog poop can carry bacteria, parasites, and it can ruin your grass if it sits for too long. A clean yard just feels better.

I’m a very detail oriented person. When I’m on your property, you’ll know exactly when I’m there and exactly what was done. I disinfect my tools between every yard, I wear disposable outdoor shoe covers to prevent cross-contamination between lawns, I double-check gates and I treat your space like it’s my own.

At the end of the day I just want to help give you one less thing to think about and time to enjoy your pup. Hire me if you want to make your life a little easier and your yard a LOT cleaner.
